I dropped my car off for a routine oil change. Upon picking it up my car had a very strong smell of weed. Two days later my check engine light came on and the car kept smelling like oil on the inside. I brought it back to the dealership, dropped it off and did not hear from anyone all day. I went to pick it up before closing and was told it would not be ready. If that was the case I should have been called so I could make arrangements. The woman that was still there (I don’t know her name) was very helpful, professional and ensured I had a rental to get home with. She went above and beyond. The car was taken care of the next day and no issues. The oil gasket was not fully closed and oil was spilled so they had to power wash it. Things happen but between the car smelling like weed and this scenario it prompted me to give feedback. I was also disappointed that a free oil change was not offered for my next service. I have leased GMV for almost ten years and have also used the dealership with no issues.

I had been looking for with specific features, I contacted a number of dealer i found that said they had what I wanted but all of them fell short. That let me to look again and I found Bob Jeannotte had want i wanted but it was a Denali, a step up from the SLTs I had been looking at, but was priced about $2,000 more. I emailed anyway and Brian Brafford got back to me the next day with a price that beat all the SLTs I had looked at. I went in, looked it over and it was perfect! He needed a few hours to get the paper work finished. When I came back to finish the purchase it was great! No push to add on extras. The price he gave me was the price I paid. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. This was the BEST vehicle purchasing experience in my 64 year. You can bet that my next vehicle purchase will be from Bob Jeannotte

Ray Calvin handled the whole process seamlessly, no shuffling between people. A big concern was ensuring the Buick Enclave would fit in my garage. Though I measured, Ray drove my chosen Enclave to my house, parked it in my garage, and we then took a test drive. We decided to purchase the Buick Enclave Preferred with Ocean Blue Metallic exterior and Sandstone interior. We completed the necessary paperwork on my dining room table. Two days later (our choice), the car was ours. Ray drove it over to pick us up, put the new plates on and give us our final sales papers & window sticker. All in all, it was a great experience! They had my car until like 6 pm for a 8 am appt. The only reason I found out they were done is because I called. And my truck wasn’t even fixed because the part is on back order. There wasn’t even an estimated date of when it can actually be fixed. Had to talk to the owner because of how downhill the service dept has gone down.

Oil change was great. I asked to have my GPS loaded with new maps service manager said GMHas no way to do that. I said do I have to buy a new car to get new maps on my GPS? The two other service write up guys just laughed but I was still told no. That is stupid roads change you can’t get up dated map?

Your service department has no regard for people’s time. I had a 7:30am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I was the only car that arrived at that time. I was then told that I was due for a transmission flush. Why couldn’t the person who scheduled my appointment have told me this? I told them to go ahead. I was told it should take 2 hours. 3 hours later, my car is finally done. I complained about the long wait time last time. This survey obviously does no good, even though here I am wasting more time by filling it out.

I went in to have my oil changed. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours, I finally approached the desk and ask for the status. After calling the service area and finding out that the car was already done, the receptionist/clerk was able to find the paper work on her desk. I'm guessing that I wasted at least 1/2 hour of my time. I understand that mistakes do happen, but was especially annoying was that I wasn't even offered an apology. Apparently, customer satisfaction is not a priority for all of your employees.

The service tech said it will be an hour to an hour and a half. My vehicle oil change and tire rotation was completed at 4:30 pm. Why does it take over two hours to do an oil change?

I scheduled an appointment that accommodated my schedule. The check-in process was seamless. I have locking lug nuts and had my tires rotated. However, the technician who performed the tire rotation neglected to return the special unlocking key lug nut to its designated package and the glove box, from which it was initially retrieved. Instead, the technician left the unlocking key lug in the cup holder between the front seats.

I originally got my car serviced for a check engine light, and found out the coolant flow control valve needing replacing. Everything was great until I got my car back, and I ended up overheating on the highway after all the coolant leaked from my car. This was not only a massive inconvenience, but now my wife and I struggle to trust the car. That's a big deal. The tow also caused a repair code for the left rear wheel sensor - I assumed the dealer would at least be waiving the labor costs but I had to pay upfront and was told it would be discussed with a service manager next week. Ultimately, the people I dealt with were kind, apologetic, and helped me get on my way given the circumstances. I don't want to understate that. However, the service was a major issue and has damaged trust, and I'd like to see a little more intentionality in making that right

I was disappointed. My Acadia did not get washed and when I opened the door I couldn’t believe how dirty the driver’s side car mat, break and gas pedal were. There was dirty fingerprints on the door panel, dirt on the rubber seat and dirt on the exterior. I had just cleaned the car mats that morning. I went back in and spoke to the porter who followed me to the car. He took the mat out and went back inside. He came back said they are cleaning the mat. He sprayed something on the break and gas pedal, cleaned the rubber and door panel. Then someone came out with my mat, which was wet, he forgot to dry it, and put it in. I have been coming to have my oil change since I purchased the Acadia, 2017. I don’t know if I will be back after this last experience. I am truly disappointed.

I brought my car in with a check engine light issue at 9 AM on 5/19. I never got an update all day about what was going on. I finally found out that they never even looked at that day. I did get a call from service rep Margaret the next morning giving me an update. They would try to get the part they needed and finish by the end of the day, 5/20. Did not get any more updates till I called back late in the day. They did get the car done after 2 days in the shop but as I drove it home the check engine light came on again (less than 3 miles). I could not return to the dealer because they were now closed. This morning (5/21) the check engine light was off again we are going to drive it a little bit to see what happens. Not very pleased as we spent $764 for this repair.

Recently I bought a 2019 AWD Enclave Avenida. While in Illinois I had an oil change at Napleton Buick GMC dealership in Shaumburg. The advisor gave a detailed diagnostic report which listed at least four items that needed attention. When I came back to Michigan I asked Margaret Smith at Bob Jeannotte to take care of them. The car has a limited three-month warranty and Margaret got in touch with the warranty company. Within 48 hours a warranty representative came and approved the repairs, one of which was a minor leak on the oil pan/timing chain cover. This was a 19- hour job. The repairs were completed and I have been test-driving the car for a few days now. This is my first Buick and I like it. I am completely satisfied with Bob Jeannotte dealership and I am sorry for the stir I caused when I misplaced the car key and asked Margaret to find it. It was my fault. Thanks!

The scheduling, vehicle drop-off and work completed were fine. There were two issues, one that is a big issue for me. I just got a 2025 Enclave Avenir with the light gray and blue interior. Love it. I was concerned with having the first oil change and service done at your dealership because there was dirt and grease on my prior vehicles from shoes I had serviced. This happened 2-3 times prior. I asked the person prepping my new car to put plastics across the carpet as well as the paper for extra protection, which he kindly did. When I picked up the car the plastic was pushed to the side, still in my car, and there was dirt and grease on the scuff plate, foot rest pad, and carpet. After two bouts of cleaning it up it was OK. This experience is very disappointing to me. I hope you can find a way to prevent the workers from dirtying the vehicles they are cleaning. The second issue I had was water spots after the wash. I believe they ten the car through the wash but there were water spots on my chrome and mirrors. If they didn’t wash it, then it was my fault. Thanks for the chance to input.

Our 2009 Buick Enclave required significant front-end repairs. Margaret, our service advisor was very professional and kept in contact during the two-week process. When we picked up the car, we noticed there was some grease on the carpet. Margaret took immediate action to clean this up. Durig her short test drive to the body shop she noticed something was not right with the car. She spoke with her mechanics, and they identified another issue. Margaret has a new sensor delivered within a couple of days and prioritized our repair. Kudos to Margaret for assisting us with the repairs to our vehicle.

I set up an on-line appointment for an oil change with a Bob Jeanotte rep, BriAnne Johnson, on the website's on-line chat. When I arrived 1/2 hour early to my appointment, I found that my appointment did not exist and that I would be queued when next available as a drive-in. I was advised next time to speak to a service rep directly to set up an appointment. Two hours after when my appointment would have been had it been scheduled, my car was completed. Suggestion: Don't allow the appearance of of on-line scheduling if it functionally doesn't exist or work.

She called the service person and he came in and told her that he put the papers in the bottom drawer an hour ago.

Pretty straightforward check in process and reasonable price. Service was pretty long 60+ mins but let’s assume this was a thorough job. Main critiques: Did not receive a summary of the multi point inspection… I’d like to know about my tire life and brake condition etc. not getting this is frustrating. Appreciate the car wash but already had a clean truck from a previous car wash and because I have a dark color and the service does not include a drying regimen - I just ended up with a bunch of water spots and another trip to the car wash.

I was in and out quickly for an oil change. Everyone is. I’ve and friendly. Small issue regarding me using my gm points. It was cleared up fast without a problem. One thing I did tell the lady in the service dept had to do with their free wifi. I needed to work while waiting. I had trouble logging on. There were signs posted everywhere you looked with the log in info. Every time I tried to sign in it kept saying wrong password. I asked an office person what was I doing wrong? This is what the problem was. Signs said: Psw WELCOME1 Actual way to log in was welcome1 Whoever printed the signs didn’t realize that passwords are case sensitive. The lady in the service dept said she’d let them know. The password had just been recently updated. I hope they fixed all the signs.

I dropped my car off on 10/16 after speaking with Margaret about a warranty issue. Due to scheduling of my job and the dealerships hours I was told to drop it off that night in hopes of getting it back 10/17. I called 10/17 around noon, 2/3 pm and left two messages regarding an update and did not get a call back until 30 mins prior to closing. Margaret said she had no update for me and my car needed to stay the weekend. The communication from her was absolutely awful. I called the service department two different times on 10/17 and left messages the first being her lunch hour I was told. The lack communication caused me scheduling and monetary issues. Very displeased with this aspect of the service.

I Brought my truck up for servicing with two issues, one was a check engine light and the second issue was a rpm jump as you drive. both issues were requested to be looked at. I showed the customer service guy a video of what the rpms were doing as you drive. They did find the issue causing the check engine light and that was addressed and fixed, however the rpm issue was not adressed and it still has this persisting issue unfortunatly. The rpm issue does not seem to be throwing a code, it has to be driven to see the rpm jump and feel it jerk as you drive, the issue happens pretty consistantly about every 10-15 seconds all the time.

Had to have a new cabin filter installed. Once the mechanic got in there he discovered a lot debris that had to be removed. They showed me the problem and quoted me a price to have it all removed. I did not receive any detailed paperwork check list of what was done of the 27 point inspection. such as if washer fluid was added or what the tire pressure is or if I needed a new air filter. Etc. Also, while I knew there would be a diagnostic fee to check out the sd card reader error and seat belt not catching, I was not informed that it would be $100 to check out each item.

I am still waiting for a rear wiper cover to come in that I was told several times it would be here the next day. Still nothing. My service work was not completed on the day of my scheduled appointment and the dealership needed to keep my car for an additional day to complete my service items. My service advisor could have communicated proactively with me to let me know the status, but I found out when I called to find out the status. Fortunately, I did not have a critical need for my vehicle car on the second day. Would have been nice if the dealership would have offered a loaner vehicle since the delay was caused by a staffing shortage, not due to complex service items. It is often very difficult to get status updates during the day of the appointment. Also, I am disappointed that Bob Jeannotte is now adding a 3% service charge for credit card transactions. Honestly, I would rather have you build the 3% into your service prices rather than charge for the use of a credit card.

I called on Monday 12-01-25 and was told by someone on the phone that the service reps were very busy and they would call me back.... they did not. Called Tuesday 12-02-25 and was told the repair turn around was 24 to 48 hours. I took my truck in on Monday 12-08-25 and dropped my truck off, was again told 24 to 48 hours. I called Wednesday and was told they hadn't started anything yet. I called on Thursday morning to see if it was done or what and was told it was number 2 to be brought in and would be done today...when I got there Thursday at 7pm my truck was not done. I got a call Friday at noon to tell me my truck was finally done. I lost money because I had no work truck for a week. This makes me reconsider ever buying another vehicle from you again.

The service tech I talked to when I checked in was extremely helpful and courteous. She explained what was included in the30,000 mile check-up and helped me look up my Buick reward points. However, the service took over two hours, I did not get a customary car wash as I always used to get, and when I checked my bill when I got home they had not applied the $69 from my Buick rewards. Additionally, my brakes still squeak when the car is in reverse. I was assured that the 28 point inspection would include checking the brakes. This is not the quality of service that I usually receive at this dealership.

Terrible expectation management. I dropped my car off on Monday for a Tuesday appointment. Called on Wednesday and was told there were still 15 cars in front of my car and that it might be looked at on Thursday. Unacceptable schedule management. You’re prioritizing your time over mine and I expect better. If it’s Thursday, then have me drop it off then. Totally ridiculous. We picked the car up and took it to a local shop. They assessed the issues soon after we dropped it off and had it fixed the next day. We won’t be back for service.

We always get prime service at Bob Jeannotte! Plus your waiting area is very nice and has coffee, pop, water and yummy cookies. Your team members are very pleasant. We were a bit frustrated in the time we waited for our cars to have oil changes. Although we understand we arrived about a half hour before the first of our 2 cars to get serviced, our appointments were 2pm and 2:30 but we didn't get out until 3:45. Seemed like the people in the room before us were also waiting quite a while. I fully understand it might have been possible you were under staffed with service guys so we figured that. Normally its an amazing half hour and we are ready to leave. I do still offer my recommendations about your dealership when people ask about service places for their cars on Next Door and Facebook. I feel that the customer is not respected when the vehicle is not returned to the customer in the same configuration as presented for service. Your mechanics should not move the seat or return it to the same position they found it in. Treat the customer with respect.

Had my car for 5 days before they looked at it. When I picked it up the guy who brought me my car when I asked him if they checked my tires he told me it’s not his job. My tires were at 28. They didn’t clean my windshield it had ice and snow on it. Then I found my glovebox on the floor. It took 2 guys to fix it. They said they had it off to check my air filter. Sean was the only one who helped me. He filled my tires and cleared my windshield and got someone to fix the glovebox. I ve never had these problems with service before. Hopefully this was a fluke.

My car is 4 months old and has been in for service for 3 seperate issues. The last issue I had to drive 4 people in my vehicle to identify a noise to them. My vehicle was in twice for same problem. Dealership called and said car was ready when technician had driven car snd noise still existed. Technician was one of the four people I drove and he told me that. When I picked up my car the final time it was filthy on the inside. The floor mat on the passenger side clearly had no paper put down and the steering wheel and inside door handles were dirty which you could see and feel. I had 108 miles left with gas when I dropped it off for service and got it back with 39 miles left. After everything I went through it would have been good customer service to clean my car and put gas in it. When I told them about the gas they told me it is in my service agreement that they don’t put gas back in. Again, sometimes making a customer happy is worth bending the rules. Afterall, I was at the dealership 3 hours driving 4 people around and waiting for a loaner car and I should not have been there because the problem was not solved the first time. To add another layer of stress to the situation, I had an elderly family member end up in the ER in Ohio and the son of the owner of the dealership would not approve me taking the loaner car to Ohio. I told them they could call the hospital and verify I was telling the truth. Unbelievable the lack of compassion and customer service. It is not hard reading people and knowing if you need to do something different especially if your business is solely dealing with the public. I would think customer satisfaction would be worth more than I received! My family and friends agreed that Bob Jeanotte totally failed me as a valued customer so I know now that I am not being unreasonable. For the record, I paid cash for the car so it was not leased which may have made a difference on how they handled my situation - this was brought to my attention by a friend who works for another auto giant.

1/10 for communication - 1/10 expectation setting - 3.5 weeks for an oil change/turbo part change and a recall. Zero calls from service and at times avoidance of my call. I was forced to call for updates every couple of days because no one was updating me or calling me back when requested.
